I can’t quite believe that we are at the end of the year for the Get Messy Creative Team! It’s been a really great year and I will always be grateful for the opportunity to take part in the team. I’ve certainly learnt a lot from participating and grown a lot as an Artist over the last 12 months.
So for end of term, and before the new creative team take over, we’re all doing a blog hop and talking about how we are inspired by another creative team member. I am talking about Zinia today.
Images (apart from the first) belong to Zinia C/O www.abstractinspirtation.com
It’s so funny that I got paired with Zinia because we were actually swap partners as well for the Get Messy Post Swap last year! I made the above page with supplies she sent me! Seems like a lifetime ago now!
Zinia’s work always has such a bright, white and colourful feel to it. It’s something I greatly admire but I have to admit, it’s not something I can achieve. My artist style just won’t allow me to but it most certainly does not stop me from drooling over her work!
As you can see from her page details here she always using painty style backgrounds but her’s always have a much softer feel to them than mine. I always go for the bold bright colours and hers are a beautiful muted and pastel. You can see more of her pages from this post here.
Look at this! I die. So Pretty!! Zinia is part of several creative teams and does a lot of scrapbooking as well. I’d love to have the patenice to keep up with scrapbooking but I’m afraid it’s just not something I can stick with. Zinia does a wonderful job of incorporating her scrapbook style into her art journalling and vice versa. You can read more about the above spread here.
Look at this totally amazing scrapbook page she’s made about her Art supplies and creating. I really love the way she’s used the stitching in her page here. I think I’m going to have to file that idea away for future inspiration for sure!
Be sure to hop along to Zinia’s blog to she who’s she talking about on the Creative Team that inspires her!
